MISSION

• Evaluation and estimation of requirements
• Technical specifications, project planning
• Scheduling of feature requests into the releases
• Management of the periodic refresh cycle of our products
• Resolution of priority and scheduling conflicts
• Resolution of issues related to unstable code, qualified code, and legacy code, in relation to customer's QA life cycle
• Report to the VP Engineering

• M.Sc. degree in computer-related subject, with research or post qualification experience in VoIP
• Inquisitive mind, technical curiosity, strongly team-oriented, "getting things done" attitude
• Outstanding ease of communication, in a multi-departments, multi-cultural and international environment
• Fluent spoken and written English and French

• Deep knowledge of products life cycle in the software industry
• Programming languages & platforms and technologies: Windows, Linux, C, C++, XML, SOAP
• Practical experience with code management and build systems (CVS, Subversion, Makefile) and POSIX scripting environments (Bash, Cygwin, Python)
• Practical experience of release and maintenance processes
• Knowledge of IP Protocol Signaling (SIP, RTP protocols)
• Practical use of modern software development methods (OO design, UML)
• Practical use of collaborative tools (wikis, bug trackers)
• 5+ years of professional experience in the industry
• 2+ years of project management in the industry
