eyeP Media, who has recently rethought its Sales and Marketing strategy to better serve its faithful customers and attract prospects, has turned its attention to the Southern European Market and in particular towards France, Italy and Spain.
DACLEM Extended Reach Services offer partnering and outsourcing specialization in the fields of sales and marketing support, planning, implementations, operations/maintenance and educational services. eyeP Media selected DACLEM?s Business Development Services to take their initial steps in Southern Europe, find the most interested value partners, grow and develop their customer base.

eyeP Media appoints Roger Heise as Managing Director

Roger Heise's background is in sales and management in both the software development and Internet product industries ? latterly he was responsible for the European operations of Ascend Communications, Inc.
Before joining Ascend, Roger managed his own company, Heise Datenkommunikations GmbH, which assisted companies in the IT industry to successfully enter the German marketplace. Prior to this, he spent 20 years at software companies.
Roger has an M.A. in Electrical Sciences from Cambridge University in England and is an associate member of the IEEE.
Roger's role is to further strengthen eyeP Media as the leading supplier of Multi-Media Softphones for Service Providers and OEM Manufacturers.

eyeP Media and Free World Dialup Announce Video Calls for FWD Community

eyeP Media, a provider of softphones, SDK?s and Media Server solutions for OEMs, service providers, PC and PDA users worldwide, and Free World Dialup, a peer-to-peer Internet telephony network for broadband users, announced the availability of eyeP Media?s eyeP Video Phone for the FWD community. Free World Dialup offers broadband communication to a community of Internet consumers who call each other using session initiation protocol (SIP) phones. The availability of these pre-configured FWD video softphones significantly expands the calling options of FWD members worldwide.
The FWD eyeP Video Phone is a softphone application dedicated for use with the FWD telephony service. FWD eyeP Video Phone, available in May, 2004, is priced at US $39.95 for a single license and offers 3-way local voice conferencing, speed dialing, superior voice quality on dial up Internet connections, plus an answering machine. eyeP Media raises US$ 2 Million funding led by Endeavour LP Strengthens eyeP Media?s VoIP Leadership Position

The lead investor was Endeavour LP and the funding included other private investors.

The investment funds will be used to expand eyeP Media?s sales and marketing activities in Europe and North America and to maintain the company?s leadership position in providing quality voice and video over IP solutions.?
In addition to the US$ 2 million funding, the Swiss Federal Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI/KTI) recently confirmed the large market potential for eyeP Media?s technology and awarded the company a US$ 400?000 grant.
